Three things you won't get from an agency.

Worst case? You get 2 extra weeks free.

You work with me,
start to finish.

One strategist. One designer. One point of contact. No handoffs, no account managers, no "let me check with the team.”

Fixed scope.
No agency bloat.

4x weeks. 3x calls. Everything else async. Most agencies charge $30-100k and drag it out 3-9 months for the same outcome.

Not Launch-Ready? You Get 2 More Weeks. Free.

If Week 4 isn't quite there, you get 2 extra weeks at no additional cost. No extensions, no excuses, no extra bills.

One brand system, built to launch. Five stages, four weeks, no detours.

Every Brand Sprint runs through the same five stages. Clarify, Roam, Anchor, Fine-Tune, Transfer (CRAFT™). It's the same methodology I've used on every engagement, from B2B SaaS startups to nine-year-old companies. The acronym isn't decoration. It's the discipline that makes the work repeatable, sharp, and shippable in four weeks.
01 Clarify the Story
You leave week one with a story everyone on your team tells the exact same way.
02 Roam the Possibilities
You see two real creative directions and pick the one that fits where you're going.
03 Anchor the Brand
You get one complete identity system: logo, color, type, and a clear visual point of view.
04 Fine-Tune the System
You get a polished hero asset built around the new brand and ready to put to work.
05 Transfer the Keys
You get the full Figma brand guide so your team can run the brand from day one.
Week 1
Story Extraction → Strategy Brief + Mood Boards
Week 2
Visual Explorations → 2x Visual Directions
Week 3
Hero Asset Design → Asset Built in Figma
Week 4
Refinement + Handoff → Brand Guide

Frequently Asked Questions

Real questions from real founders. Honest answers below.
Don't see your question?
Send it to , I read every message and reply within 24 hours. Or book a free disscovery call.
1. Is the Core Brand Sprint right for my stage?
The Core Brand Sprint is built for B2B founders who've found product-market fit (or are close) and whose brand has fallen behind the product. Most of my clients are Seed to Series B, between 1 and 150 people, with a working product and real customers but a brand that still feels like a placeholder.

If you're pre-product, the Sprint is probably too much. If you're a 200-person company with a marketing team, you'd benefit from something larger. Anywhere in between, this is built for you.

Not sure if you fit? Book a discovery call. I'll be honest about whether this is the right move for where you are.
2. What's included in the Core Brand Sprint?
You get a complete brand system in four weeks. That includes brand strategy (positioning, story, audience clarity), visual identity (logo system, color, typography), one hero asset built in Figma (your homepage, a landing page, or a pitch deck), and a full handoff toolkit your team can use on day one.

You also get me. The entire engagement is one strategist, one designer, one point of contact. No account managers, no junior team. Direct access from kickoff to delivery.

Full breakdown of deliverables and the four-week cadence is on the Sprint section above.
3. What if we don't have a clear brief or vision yet?
That's most founders I work with. You don't need a brief. You need a sparring partner who can pull the brand out of your head.

The first week of the Sprint is dedicated to exactly this. We run a story extraction process called Clarify, where I dig into your positioning, your audience, and the story your brand needs to tell. By the end of week one, you'll have a strategy brief and mood boards that capture what was always there but never written down.

If you can describe your product to a customer, you have enough to start.
4. Who's actually doing the work?
Me. From kickoff to delivery, you work with one person.

I'm Rocky Roark. I've been designing brands for 20+ years, ran a five-person team for years, and rebuilt Blue Cyclops as a solo studio because the work is better when it stays in one head. No handoffs, no account managers, no "let me check with the team." When you message me, you're talking to the person doing the work.

This is also why the Sprint is capped to a limited number of clients per quarter. The trade-off for craftsmanship is volume, and I'd rather keep the work tight than scale it thin.
5. What makes Blue Cyclops different from a brand agency?
Agencies are built for volume. The work flows through account managers, junior designers, strategists, and creative directors. Decisions get diluted. Quality varies. You hire the agency and get whoever's available.

Blue Cyclops is built for depth. One studio, one decision-maker, one hand on the work from start to finish. I take fewer engagements so each one gets the focus a brand deserves. The work is sharper because nothing gets lost in handoff.

If you want a team, hire an agency. If you want a craftsman, work with me.
6. Can you work with our existing brand, or do we have to start over?
Either way. Some clients come to me with a logo and a landing page that just need to grow into a real brand system. Others come ready to rebuild from scratch.

If you have brand equity worth keeping, we keep it. If your existing brand is holding you back, we say so honestly and rebuild. The decision happens in week one, after we've dug into your positioning and audience together.

If you're not sure which one you need, that's the right time to book a discovery call.
7. What if our leadership team doesn't agree on direction?
This is the most common reason brand projects stall, and it's the reason the Sprint exists.

Week one extracts the brand story from your founder or core team. By week two, we present two creative directions, not safe variations of the same idea. Your leadership team picks one. Once that decision is locked, we build it. No design-by-committee, no endless rounds of "let's see another option."

The CRAFT process is designed to force decisions early so the work can move. If your team can agree on a story by end of week one, you'll have a finished brand system four weeks later.
8. What happens after the sprint? Do you stick around?
That's your call.

Some clients take the toolkit and run with it internally. Others want ongoing brand support without committing to another agency, and roll into a Fractional Brand Champion retainer where I serve as their part-time brand director (creative review, asset support, strategic input, all on a monthly basis).

I also offer post-sprint design sprints for specific deliverables (landing pages, pitch decks, campaign assets) at a weekly rate. No pressure either way. The Sprint is built to stand on its own.
